Über die Veranstaltung
“I wanted to make the inaudible of the night audible.”
Have you ever come across those signs saying: ‘do not enter a nature reserve’? Well, as far as Fie Schouten, Katharina Gross and Kerwin Rolland are concerned, Korzo will be renamed such an area and we will be right in the middle of it. We hear the swifts that fly around sunset in search of their nest. And bats that wake up again when the moon comes out, looking for insects. These sounds are imitated by a bass clarinet, cello, electronics and objects. The musicians mix neuroscience with theatrical music, for which we can experience those low tones to the depths of our bellies.
This concert is part of the fifth edition of the Bass Clarinet Festival that gives the bass clarinet a stage with contemporary music.
